Wow - that is a level of software sophistication I had not expected. So here in Ontario we are starting in a simple manner - just show status on phone or paper plus photo Id Check in is not tied to a location. Some businesses are planning to defy and not ask. By the looks of it, the Aussie software will make it harder not to comply. In Australian case,“they” can see that you are at a location through location tracking, and see if you have officially checked in! So, in theory, if you have not checked In and you are located there - lets say for 15 minutes or more, then enforcement can be sent right away. This is a truely scary !! Only option would be to not take your phone or shield from location tracking.
