Trying to make some decisions on how to best prep for the times, should things worsen before they improve. I want to get my money out of the bank asap and I'm thinking of using it to buy a plot of land as my long term investment/savings strategy. This would protect my money from both inflation and government overreach, as I believe a few more steps ahead in their plan will be to block us from our banking accounts if we do not comply. We are not there yet but I think it's coming. The land will also be an available resource should I need it in the event of food shortages as I am a master gardener but my current property is tiny.
I'm also calling a ranch today to invest in a quarter cow for my freezer. Between that and the fall garden, finding food won't be an issue for months. Regardless what the near future holds, I have to make sure I can keep my kids fed.
Do you have any prepping plans in action? Any advise?
Besides water/food resources, make sure to write down or print out any necessary recipes, instructions, addresses or any other valuable printed items that may not be accessible with loss of electricity. Books as well that you may need. Buy a home remedies book for future use. Unless the authoritative medical state is destroyed, hospitals will not be my choice for any help. I just received Conrad LeBeau's book entitled "Hydrogen Peroxide and Aloe Vera, A Home Remedies Book". Website is here to order. He talks about more than just aloe and H202. Here are some from his recommended list for basic infection fighting 1.) Tincture of Iodine 2.) 3% Hydrogen Peroxide 3.) Sea Salt 4.) Raw Garlic 5.) Raw Garlic soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar 6.) Grapefruit Seed Extract 7.) Colloidal Silver 8.) Baking Soda I would have a large quantity of salt stored...good for food preservation and brushing teeth if toothpaste runs out. I'd make a homemade toothpaste with salt, baking soda, splash of water and dried mint leaves.
