No. They care getting sick because of how the shot operates. It replicates the spike proteins (the sickness part of the virus) and kills the bodies natural white blood cells (so they don't attack the spike protiens) thus the body is left vulnerable to any virus or bacteria it encounters.

With regard to side effects, it is more likely that the people having severe reactions are having underlying issues that their body was already struggling with come to them fore front since their immune systems are now trash. It is folly to think "if they aren't suck they must have gotten saline."

Besides...even if that were true for 1 shot that does not mean it wad/would be true for subsequent shots.
