I contacted my rep to support hb93, and he pointed out this bill also. Would make it an unlawful practice to either not hire, or fire someone based on their vax status for ANY vaccine.

I've not only contacted my representatives but also multiple emails to Abbott. HB39 will cover health care discrimination and employer discrimination however it needs some really large penalties as it stands its no match for osha regs. Removal of operational license is a real strong incentive.
My company would be facing a fine of over 180 million for not complying to the mandate. The financial damage to the company is the driving factor other than that my company is holding off but have warned us this could become mandatory.
