The thing is, being anonymous and on the internet does allow for a lot of people to adopt a way of acting they wouldn't typically display in real life. Some people are living purely in fantasyland when it comes to their online posting, even people on our side.
Not sure the background on this, but it reminds me of when you look at prepper videos and you see random internet people talking about how they would "sink their knife into" anyone who comes near their house in a shtf scenario to ask for help - pure fantasy and detached from any reality whatsoever.
In real life people are fairly decent most of the time because of consequences, but yeah, you get some of the worst of the worst on these boards, but also some of the best info. What can ya do?
I'm sure you got good and bad replies.
