My (not a doctor, this isn't advice) understanding is that it generally won't hurt you, almost certainly won't help you, costs more, and is more likely to cause weird side effects. The general consensus I've gathered is to avoid it.

I am not advocating a mixed blend of horse paste, but I have used a mix blend and while it scared the shit out of me, I did it. My horse did well, and is now ok. Pure paste is the way to go, but the large dose of praziq did no harm. Praziq is also used for humans....it too is for parasites...hope that helps to calm your nerves...
