We have a couple of very good seeming candidates running to unseat JHB, and rightfully so. Joe Kent seems to be the name I have heard dropped from news and site sources almost exclusively. For the sake of transparency, I have loose ties to Heidi StJohn.

I have gained a distrust of anyone who seems foisted on me from multiple directions and with the history of people like Dan Crenshaw, I take military service with a grain of salt, sadly. I started to get this feeling about Kent from the start, but I keep my mind open and now Trump has endorsed him. I do not agree here. Please keep in mind that, for whatever reason, Trump does not have a good history of picking the right people for state representation, if fact he seems pretty crappy at it.

So, a few weeks ago a nice smear campaign appeared dragging Heidi’s mane through the mud in a political move that reeked of the same old deep state election BS. I automatically tied this to Kent, it just fit with my thought process, but again, I keep an open mind. Today I came across information from a source in the StJohn campaign that Kent was the source of this smear. This drives me further towards the conclusion that Kent may not be who he says he is and that we are being pushed to vote in another potential RINO who will follow in the footsteps of JHB.

In the Clark County area, we have been bamboozled by politicians a whole lot in the past 15 years. Let’s not forget the campaign promises and 180 flip of Mayor Tim Leavitt. Let’s not go down that road again. I am just one guy with a hunch, and you can take my word or not, that’s on you, but I have a feeling that is made a little more real today that Joe Kent may not be the man for the job here in Vancouver. His previous ties to DC are IMO suspect, although I see anyone with ties to DC as suspect.

In closing, I would say that I will be voting for Heidi St John in the primary. I can not put my trust in Trump for recommendations considering his past record when put up about my own gut feelings. To see smear tactics employed by conservatives against fellow conservatives is unacceptable in my book and it does not bode well in my estimation of his performance once handed the power of a congressional seat. I will vote for Heide, a person whose record I can look closely at, who is deeply involved with the home school movement here, and someone who is a true believer in Christ. I recommend Heidi for congress, and I hope this letter helps some to decide. We can not continue down the path we are on and the only way to change that is to bring in new people that are not tied to the old ways. It would be awesome to have a representative who works hard for the people of WA. It would be nice to see our representative's name beside the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene. Just my thoughts, fire away 😊
