Hardly any more pagan than what most people recognize as Christmas.
It is a pro-community activity. It is one of the few traditions left that have people in neighborhoods interacting with one another. Of course communists want to get rid of it.

I have always enjoyed Halloween.
The Church designated Nov. 1st as "All Hallows Day" in the 8th century to honor the Saints. Which would make Halloween a night of medieval Catholic tradition.
Only nutjobs think what we do on Halloween is evil. We're not trying to contact spirit's or worship the devil. It's as innocent and ridiculous as Easter.
Tell that to the folks on Christianity.win
