Noticed that as well. A lot of Blackhawks, few Chinooks near North border..

They have been flying more than usual in the Denver area too. The jets were flying quite late this evening as well.

It's a touch quieter than normal. No exceptional activity on Long Island, Albany's quiet, Fort Drum only has one bird up, nothing in MA, VT, NH.

Pretty sure those chinooks are 3/126 AVN birds out of Rochester doing night flight training. Probably pilots that couldn't get their flight hours in on drill weekend last week.
