I know a family down the street who attended this rally. Just spoke with the Mom outside this morning. She is quitting her job to homeschool her kids. It's going to be tight financially but she and her husband don't want their children to get myocarditis or worse from the vaccine. Plus, they are fed up with the communist, CRT indoctrination their kids are subjected to.
As a former homeschooling mother, I've been giving her links to local homeschool organizations, resources and advice. It will be quite a journey but well worth it for her and her family. God Bless them and others who make this decision to pull their kids out of those miserable indoctrination outfits they call "public schools".
Sorry to say it but unless people go truly independent they're gonna get some amt of indoctrination at the state sponsored charter schools as well. I'm getting LGBTQ content emailed to me (my son is only 10!) and I am not allowed to use any state funds for Christmas items because it is considered a religious holiday. When I say Christmad items I am talking learning material. I tried to order a book of piano music at his level with some Christmas songs and it was declined but regular piano books were ok.
Homeschooling is definitely better but we need to fight in solidarity with public school families because they are coming after homeschool next.
My husband and I didn't use state funds because we didn't like their "guidelines" on materials that could be bought, but I know other homeschool families who do and just deal with what they can't buy.
I heartily agree that they will come for the homeschoolers at some point when enough people pull their kids out. That's why I keep in contact and donate to Homeschooling Law Organizations that go after such actions.
And yes, I still keep an eye on and will help public school families fight the school boards and the like.
