She was admitted to the ICU tonight with covid and bacterial pneumonia in her lungs. They are going to try regeneron and they have her on a ventilator. Her oxygen went up from 70 to 80 after going on the vent. Please say a prayer for her and give her strength. She is the nicest lady in the world!
Edit: Prayer works! Her oxygen level is up to 93 this afternoon and she has improved kidney function! The steroids and antibiotics appear to be working and helping her pneumonia. Thank you all for the prayers. She's not out of the woods yet, but making improvements.
When it comes to healthcare, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Press them and call all the time. Families who are overbearing get treated better. Families who are too nice get forgotten, because the places do not fear repercussion from nice people.
Thanks for the advice! I'll pass it along to my father in law
Please take it! If everyone in the facility gets to know her name, she will get all the attention she requires to live. This isn’t about an incorrectly marked item at the food store. This is a human being, not a product of the medical industrial complex. Be relentless. Get to know the managers. Make them remember her name. Nobody remembers nice - they remember tough. Like Trump.
I sent what you said to my father in law. I hope he keeps the pressure on!

I know the people who work at these places. Turned numb from their many years. Tough wakes them up!
