Relative in hospital with covid pneumonia. Last day of remdesevir use tomorrow and then only dealing with inflammation. High flow O2 70% environment decreased to 40% environment. Has anyone dealt with this before? Please any advice is helpful. This seems like a good sign but would like to know about similar experiences thank you.

Don, I was in the same situation. I developed double pneumonia from Covid. I should have treated it as I was well aware of the risk of a secondary infection. I feel that my lack of O2 gave me this 'Brain Fog' and I wasn't thinking clearly My wife had borrowed an O2 concentrator and I was on 1L of O2 to keep my O2 saturation up at home. At night my levels dropped into the 80's and my wife talked my into going to the hospital. 3 times they wanted me to sign for Remdesivir treatment, but I kept refusing. The first night in, the nurses cranked me up to the Max O2 and put me on a rebreather bag, which I understand effectively doubles your available O2. So I went from 1 to 1 1/2L to 36L of O2 immediately...?! In time this would turn my lungs to jelly and I would Need a Ventilator. But my wife found out and told them 'You're trying to Kill my husband! I am coming to take him out of there!' They actually threatened to have her arrested... Anyhow, a new doctor was assigned to me. (?) They turned my O2 way down, got me the extensions I'd asked for so I could walk around, and finally had PT visit me. During this, my son had delivered some clothes and shower kit with My Ivermectin (Paste) and HCQ (+Zinc,C,D...) hidden inside. <== This is what I should've been doing from the start. So, learn to treat it stock up, watch out for brain fog, and Stay Out of the Hospital!

I have left clear message to my relatives - DO NOT TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL, LET ME DIE IN MY OWN BED IF THATS WHAT HAS TO BE.
Ivermectin is for stopping the covid, but my relative is almost done with the infection and fighting inflammation. When you switched doctors what was your new oxygen level?
Ivermectin is anti-viral AND anti-inflammitory. Take aspirin too.
Yeah, I think they brought me some of everything... They scaled me back pretty quick according to my saturation level, but I left shortly back on 1L. I believe that I could've handled it well at home if I really got ahead of it. (and avoided a more serious situation.)
