Hey op! Just a suggestion, there's this nifty site: 12ft.io and if you put it infront of a website address, it removes the paywall so we can read the article without logging in/paying.
Any even better suggestion would be to archive the page using the paywall jumper, so that the NYT doesn't get clicks / advertising, and we can still read the article.
Yeah, it used to... not sure why it doesn't anymore. There may be other browser extensions that might allow you to get around it, or if you are good with CSS just inspect the page and remove the block.

for example, for your link:
Original: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/09/us/politics/trump-january-6-committee.html
No paywall: https://12ft.io/www.nytimes.com/2021/11/09/us/politics/trump-january-6-committee.html
except it appears it dooesn't work for NYT anymore..... but there are other paywall jumpers (chrome extensions etc) as well.
Just a suggestion.....
You can use reader view to skip all that nonsense too.
Thanks, I had no idea, I just grabbed that article as an example, I figured everyone knew the story.
doesn't work for nyt
