My neighbor was talking today of "two waves" in relation to covid but in a slightly different context.
He was told to work from home in July due to "surging positive PCR tests" among employees at his company. Three weeks ago, they gave their staff the green light to return to work at the office.
But just yesterday, they were told to go back to working from home again as so many of the double-jabbed staff have become severely ill and several have died. The employees are divided on what is causing the problem (the vaxes, covid itself, the flu...) but they figure it's best to work from home till it's all sorted.

A mandate is not law, so let them fire you. Then, sue the pants off them for wrongful termination.
