Imagine that a patient for a transplant, whose health will be IMMUNOCOMPROMISEd from transplant medications to fight REJECTION REACTIONS, and is placing themselves at a high risk for any infections, won’t take the vaccine There are so many desperate patients who need that organ. Transplant patients don’t do well with the China virus.
I disagree with your assertion that transplant victims don't do well with the China Virus. Transplant patients take anti-rejection meds for the rest of their lives after receipt of the donation and that destroys their immune system. So, transplant recipients fare much better than those with robust immune systems when the cytokine storm over stimulates the immune system's response which attacks not only the virus but, also healthy organs leading to multiple organ failures.
I’m only quoting the pulmonologist from Duke’s Transplant Center.
Its a discussion, right? I should have been more specific that I'm not saying that China Virus isn't an issue for everyone including transplant recipients but, specifically that the body's reduced immune system response in those with suppressed immune systems is a slight hedge.
