I'm not looking for myself, I'm looking to convince a few people I know. If any of you have anything in mind, something that I can actually show others, I'd be most grateful. Thanks!

Edit: I know that this has been asked many times but I haven't yet found anything that I can show others that is not solely based on surmise. When asked how I can put forward that "it had to be this way", I find myself lacking in solid arguments to explain - I suppose it's because I'm yet unfamiliar with all that happened between November the 3rd and Jan 20th (I'm thinking about the new people appointed to office, EOs, etc). Patel Patriot's devolution series is great, but it's still all suppositions.

Edit 2: Thanks to all that suggested links. I've just found an excellent summary of Devolution on the internet. I'll start by looking carefully into the EO mentioned below.

""I can only tell you what I believe is going on in the simplest of terms: Devolution is a constitutional mechanism to maintain a functioning government in the event of an occupation or infiltration. The powers of the Commander in Chief are devolved into the duties of 11 Combat Commanders.

Additionally, there are several Executive Orders (some Trump signed others by previous presidents) that deal with Continuity of Govt.

It is a fact that Trump signed EOs relating to continuity of govt (EO13961) under various states of emergency.

Together, Devolution and/or Continuity of Government have been in play to box the current resident and keep the National Essential Functions in place.""
