I have a question. This is not suggested as a cure or treatment but I'm curious about your thoughts on something slightly unrelated but maybe beneficial. I had a young family member that was highly allergic to poison ivy. They broke out in blisters, lots of them. I used to use spray benadryl on them. The spray helped them not itch or scratch the blisters and dried them all up in virtually 24 hours or less. Since I had such great success with that, I've used it on other infectious type bumps / blisters over the years with the same remarkable results. Is it possible that using the spray benadryl on the smallpox blisters could help dry them up quickly and thereby lessening the more infectious time frame?
Thank you for explaining that to me. I really appreciate it.
