THIS IS NOT TRUE. CHARGES HAVE BEEN REFERRED BUT THE DA HAS NOT FOLLOWED THROUGH. DUE TO AN ERROR, ONE OUTLET REPORTED THAT THE CHARGES WERE FILED BUT HAS SINCE RETRACTED. THEY MISINTERPRETED THE FACT THAT CHARGES WERE REFERRED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH TO MEAN CHARGES WERE FILED, AND EVERYONE ELSE RAN WITH THE ORIGINAL ARTICLE AND CLAIMED CHARGES FILED.

Please turn off your cap lock, no reason to shout. The article came from the LawEnforcementToday.com site and was reposted by the Gateway Pundit. According to LawEnforcement site, the title is accurate, Sheriff Schmaling is filing charges, and yes, Patricia Hansen, the DA will decide the next step. This is an updated story from the original Oct 28 announcement, and updated 11/20 being announced today 11/24 per the LawEnforcement site.
