Yup. It was corrupt from the get go.

The TV series in the 60s and 70s was pure propaganda to give it a lawful, "good fed" cache.

FBI is filled with pure scum.

My niece's husband joined about 15 years ago, then left. He discovered it was primarily a cover-up org for the criminal rich and powerful. Very disillusioned as it was once his dream to be a federal agent and fight crime, not aid it.
