Back in '05 I was tanking a run of BRD (WoW-classic) and was leading the group through the bridge shortcut. I jumped out the window, turned the wrong way and promptly fell off the bridge and into the lava where I cooked to death right alongside everyone else who followed me right off the bridge. Commented on team-speak that we just answered the age old question of jumping off bridges. We bout died laughing and the the rest of the run was fine, but it does illustrate a point. People trust others and blindly follow especially if they aren't familiar with the territory. Moral of the story: Look before you leap, if you are in a leadership position you'd better look more than once because someone is trusting your judgement more than their own.
