Hi all,
Need a recommendation for a fade resistant flag. Brand and material. I got one from Costco (valley forge, polyester) faded in less than 6 months and rusted…wtf. I thought valley forge was supposed to be good.
Thanks in advance.

Can't comment on their products, haven't tried em.
I live in the desert. It is impossible to find a flag that won't fade. I put 2 valley forge polyester ones back to back, which also helps keep it from blowing up on my roof. When the fade I swap them to put the new sides out. Been working OK. Still 2 flags though.
Interesting…I wonder if nylon won’t fade as much.
High quality made in the USA: https://www.flagsusa.com
Have you bought from them?
Several times. I live in the Midwest and I get about 3 years of almost constant use out of a flag before I retire it. The color has never faded on me. I retire them when the edges start becoming frayed.
They have a good material FAQ to help you choose the right flag. https://www.flagsusa.com/flag-material-comparison-guide/
Thanks
Have you tried spraying the flag with a UV-blocking agent?
No….but if this happens again on another flag then I will.
Hope it works out for you.
Fun fact: In Minnesota it is illegal to buy an American flag not made in the US. This will probably be removed by Ilhan and other terrorists tho
That’s pretty awesome.
