Day nine, I think, of Covid and I finally turned the corner. Not sure if I'd be here without the info I've gathered on these boards. I did the ivermectin, zink, D3, high dose C, quercetin. To be honest I didn't think it was working. I was getting depressed as I was barely able to eat. Since Thanksgiving I have been only able to eat minimal things and due to that, my energy has been nil. I went from tasting nothing to my taste buds being on crack. Only things I could eat were apple's and bananas. Tried and got half a 4 way down and then basically fruit for the week. Everything tastes extremely salty or overpowered. Meat is a no. I put a Hershey kiss in my mouth and it was like someone stuffed 5 candy bars in my mouth. Crazy
So this is the weird thing I want to see if anyone else has experienced. Last night my fever finally broke by itself. I woke up in a complete sweat, soaked. I felt this really odd sensation like a weight had been lifted off of me. Like something left my body. My mouth was filled with the most awful gas like taste like something died in my lungs and was escaping through my mouth. Weirdest experience but after that I felt soooooo much better. Today I was able to eat 3 hard boiled eggs. Taste is still jacked up though. Really is criminal that they send people home without a plan of action.
I had body aches like you get with the flu but nothing else (no runny nose, fever, anything). It was so strange, but I figured I slept funny or something. Then my nose started to smell ready bad, like a chemical was burning. That's when I realized it was the virus burning off my smell receptors. Went to get tested. Nurse doubted me so hard especially because my oxygen was at 100. Came back positive. Completely lost my smell 2 days later.
I had no other symptoms but it felt like something almost demonic/unnatural was trying to invade my brain through my nose. It was the weirdest feeling. Interesting enough, my chiro off hand mentioned that several of her patients have brought up that they felt like they were being possessed by something demonic while sick. I find it fascinating that so many people are using this description.
