Ever since the coof started, I’ve been looking into the benefits of different vitamins and supplements to help the immune system, help your body fight covid etc. I started taking D3, vitamin C, zinc and NAC. Since I’ve been taking these supplements, I’ve noticed a huge decrease in my depression. So much of a decrease that I was able to wean off of my antidepressant ! I’ve been off off it for over a year now, and feel great. I want to dive in to learning more about what supplements can do for other illnesses and to prevent future problems. Google searching leads me to some info, but it’s hard to know which info is trustworthy and efficacious. Do you pedes have any suggestions on reading material or resources to get me started learning more? TIA❤️

First of all, congrats for making the switch to supplements! You've done more for your health longevity than any rx can do for you. 2--consult with a naturopathic doctor. They will check your blood for any and all deficiencies, which from there they will recommend specific supplements that your body may need. No sense on taking everything under the sun until you know what your body is needing. I would discuss the protocol you are currently using with them as well, so they can recommend the best sources for your supplements, etc. Good luck! And a big cheers for continued improved health to you!
That’s very true. I had a blood panel done last spring, and they said I wasn’t deficient in anything. That was at the endocrinologist. I had been shedding more hair than normal and was concerned about it, so had them test hormones and vitamins/minerals and they said everything looked good. I wonder if their definition of “good” would be different than a naturopaths opinion though
