While I don't like listening to Mike's podcasts, his articles are often very good, and this is one of his best.

Yes, though it was Burgess Meredith in that part.

I guess you're saying the similarity is that you could be happy spending the rest of your life reading, but Burgess Meredith didn't get to. Rod Serling's stories often had an O. Henry twist to them, and this was one of them.
