As I lay me down to rest; Remove the weight upon my chest

Clear my mind so I can sleep;

So tomorrow I can wake more sheep

Give me strength as days grow long; Heal my soul so I grow strong

The Armor of God I’ll wear in the fight; Just give me peace to sleep tonight

The morning comes I’ll dress again; To face the battle and fight the sin
