FTA: Imagine if, in that same space of time, kids went from graduating high school at age 18 to, instead, 36.
This isn't that farfetched. I've heard TV talking heads speak as if someone at nearly 30 years of age is still a kid and inclined to do kid stuff, or that being still a kid they shouldn't be held responsible for stupid stuff they may do.
My good friend, who is an Italian, told me once that in his culture, kids are not expected to make "grown up" decisions until they are at least 30 years old....
