Beat me to it. Notice under "epidemiology" it mentions how diagnosis is often delayed because people aren't considering strokes, yet the longer the delay, the worse the outcome. Children have more hemorrhagic strokes, they have a high mortality, and they tend to have more strokes later.
For the record, pediatric strokes have been stable for many years ranging from 2.3-2.5 per 100,000.
