So disclose says Biden isnt delaying student loans anymore and payments will restart in feb. Does this tick anyone else off??
HEAR ME OUT!
My husband got loans for an engineering degree and has a pretty dang good job in a global company. Now, the world went to crap, schools are insane and we now homeschool and have for a couple years because public school will not happen. Add inflation and I dont see how people are making it!
They literally want BOTH parents to HAVE to work to break up the nuclear family. Both parents work = public school again for 75% of homeschoolers since tuition to private is so high.
And yes before anyone asks, without inflation, etc 1 income would work. 🤦🏼♀️
They would have resumed sooner or later, or were you expecting them to never resume? You're a stay at home mom with a husband that has an engineering degree. Excuse me while I go work my ten hour shift after watching my granddaughter all morning so my daughter could work. She's been making her loan payments regardless of the deferral.
Nobody was attacking you, no need to get huffy. Yes we all have it hard and nobody is downplaying anyone else's scenario at the moment. If you haven't looked around, the world is different than if was 5 years ago. A fancy engineering degree isn't some magic ticket making us rich. 🙄 Especially when things are 5000x more expensive and vaccine mandates threatening jobs are hanging over someone's head.
And I'm glad she has been making payments. She also has free child care. Which if I had available would be fine. Again, try looking at it in someone else's shoes before hopping on assuming you have it worse than anyone else.
