First of all he “tested positive for” C19 while in El Salvador in November and was stuck there(?!). His staff couldn’t get a hold of him during that time (?). From all accounts he was a solid conservative, opposed mandates, etc. He was also a ranking member of a Senate committee which may have some serious significance / importance in the upcoming months.
