I’m a traveler at heart. I love being home but I love going to new places and seeing history and the world. Had grand plans to go back to Europe one day, take more cruises, etc.
Covid has killed all of that off in me. And I had to let it go. It’s been like a death. Reimagining life where I can’t go places because I refuse to participate in this system they are building. Freedom at the point of a needle and the muzzling of a mask. The luster and charm of ancient cities loses so much when you have to flash passports and papers, anyway.
So I’m making new dreams. I refuse to fly until the mask shit is over. Flying sucked pre-pandemic…
I don’t know if anyone else out there feels heartbroken like me.
Do you have hope this will change? That more and more people will wake up and push back? Do you still believe NCSWIC? This is the Great Reset. I believe Trump helped rush this along and foiled their lengthier plans. I’m just blurry on the future.
Just wondering if anyone else out there feels the way I do.
My last international flight was coming back from Afghanistan 6 years ago. If I can't carry a gun with me, I ain't going there. So, it's staying in my truck and the South for the foreseeable future. Maybe one day, I'll get back to Costa Rica. I'd like to go to Turkey and Vietnam too. But for now, I'm fine with everything the good ole US of A has to offer.
I feel you. I’m in the south as well and grateful for it. There’s are lot to discover all around us.
Interestingly Costa Rica was one of the last places I traveled pre-shutdown. It was beautiful.
It's a beautiful country. I want to take my eco-wife there some day. Erase memories of going with my ex (shudder).
Haha yes that’s a must-do then! Make new memories to blot out the old. I get it.
