I swear I'm starting to see more and more posts of people posting news articles that are weeks, months, or even years old, as well as people who seem to have just discovered Wikileaks for the first time. If you're not sure, or even if you are, do a quick check with the search function.

Can you give everyone your arbitrary date limit as to when past events no longer have relevance to current events?

I'm with you for the main part, I do see a lot of old stuff (but many new faces may not have seen it yet- granted, that doesn't excuse the sensationalist posts I think you're referring to), some current 'old' news may be relevant for comms though.
