Also, I think someone mentioned this before, most of the major movie releases are from Netflix or Amazon. Not the traditional movie outlets in Hollywood. I imagine there are a few that made it through but they are probably from foreign production companies, not US based. The James Bond movie comes to mind.

I’d think the amount of people still wanting to see movies like Spider-Man, etc would warrant being able to purchase tickets 3 days before the weekend.
