Only pay for what you use? I love the idea. Like electronic tolls instead of a gas tax.

And no more laws requiring insurance. Making it required jacks up the price for everyone.

Even those can lead to war. See the American Civil War and the tariffs leading up to it. The tax on tea leading to Boston. Etc.
