You know what…I was a victim of childhood incest. My father was my abuser which started when I was 8 & continued til I was 12. He abused my sister before me & 2 sisters after me - a career pedophile. He married my step mom when she was 17 & 11 mos and he was 34. Who at that age finds a 17 yr old attractive when they have an 11 yr old daughter at home unless they have a diagnosis of pedophilia? I found out later in my life that he impregnated a younger sister of my mothers & the baby was adopted out. This IS NOT NORMAL BEHAVIOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last thing I would ever think of with my own babies or grand babies is raping them!! People, this is sick behavior and CANNOT be tolerated in any way, shape or form!! God weeps for the children.
Thank you. Unfortunately, I know I’m not alone. I worked as a nurse in labor & delivery for 20 years & many of my patients were victims. 1 in 3. Staggering statistics. I’m not anyones victim & I believe that is what has helped me on the road to recovery more than anything. I have other sisters who are still playing the victim role & I refuse. I may not have had control back then but I do now. God is so good & He can heal anything if we are open to it. He has surrounded me with warriors for Christ that have shown me the way to a healthy life.

I am so very sorry you went through that. May God be your guide on the continued path of healing to recovery. You are not alone. 😔
