I believe they are phasing out long term care facilities for the elderly. The facility my hubby works at has started converting half of the building for "Behaviorial Patients". You know, all the homeless drug addicted people that piling up all over the state. They don't make much money on Medicare patients, but they can on Federally funded "programs" to rehab drug addiction. Unbelievable! They created these drug addictions and looked away when they started living on the streets. Now they can make more money on them by rounding them up and putting them into facilities to clean them up. The elderly have been screwed royally.
