personally, I think you should be able to abort under circumstances (failed condom, rape, etc.) but you only have until the baby can survive on its own. Which is a minimum of 22 weeks but the child will suffer disability so 24 weeks is when the majority can survive preterm birth. For people who oppose abortion entirely, imagine this. You are a woman. You're walking down the street at night, home from your long job, and you're suddenly attacked out of nowhere. You go unconscious. While you're out, you're forcefully raped. You wake up, worried. Running to the doctor, he tells you you are now pregnant (It doesn't happen this fast IRL but YKWIM). Abortion is illegal in your state so you have to carry the infant to term. You're now stuck paying child support to someone you don't know and are stuck with a child that's only half yours.
The rapist should have his weapon removed and at worse an adoption for the child. Why put an innocent life on a scale to try and validate a second wrong to make you selfishly right? I mean a slipped condom? What a lunatic argument. If a dude is going to put his dick into someone and someone is going to let a dick into them you should understand the consequences may be a child.
