Hypothetically speaking.. if you had a guy caught on security camera removing all the extinguishers from a building, messing with the overhead ducted sprinker systems to block them, and welding all the fire escape doors and stairwells shut, who then set the building on fire.. that premeditation and planning would elevate the sentence to the maximum possible.
Shouldn't banning medicine while in the middle of a pandemic for which that medicine is a life saver automatically mean the perps get mandatory death sentences with no appeal or reprieve possible? For the same reasoning.
