Pence was a plant from the beginning and Trump did not pick him, someone else did. It would be interesting to find out who that was.

This. Just like when Reagan won the nomination, Bush was not his VP pick either. The GOP put him on the ticket. That’s their insurance policy to stay in control. Why do you think some lunatic tried to kill Reagon out of the blue?
