Inspired by the success of their Canadian brothers, and populist movements in countries around the world, American patriots set out from towns across the US in early March. Smaller convoys of 50-100 vehicles began their journeys from the Pacific Northwest, California, the Southwest, the Deep South, and New England. Destined for the Nation’s Capitol, their numbers snowballed as semi’s, trucks, and cars joined them in the Rockies, the Midwest, and Texas. The silent majority from Mid-Atlantic Blue cities quietly used up their extra vacation days so they could join the caravan to DC. By the time the convoy from FL, originally a 1000 cars, reached Washington, it had ballooned to 10000 patriots.

Their first maneuver was timed perfectly, as all 5 convoys arrived on the beltway around DC at the same time. If you could see it from the 30000 foot view, the merging of these caravans resembled the swirling of a storm gathering strength. When all 70+ miles of highway around the Capitol were filled by the circling patriots, word went out over the CB, telegram, and Zello that it was time to finish the journey.

Coming in from the North (so as to avoid the natural blockades of the bridges and waterways surrounding DC to the South), they made their way towards the Mall. By the time the evening was over, all 3 branches of government had cars lined up around them. Having learned from their Canadian counterparts, they left a lane open for local traffic and emergency vehicles. It was the first time this many people had come to the Nation’s Capitol since January 6th. Again they came in peace but this time, they were prepared for those who might try to frame this moment as something else.

The following morning, they announced their objectives: the convoy stays until all mandates are ended, the Jan 6 prisoners are released, and legislation is passed so that neither of these things could ever happen again. Their beef was not with their fellow countrymen, just with the political class who’d taken them for granted for the last 20 years, and tyrannized them for the last 2.

DC is largely empty so disruptions to everyday citizens are minimal. But the crooked politicians hiding in their bunkers nearby hear them loud and clear, well before the first train horn ever goes off. They are scared shitless and start making calls to the Capitol Police and National Guard. When they arrive, they are greeted with a sight they have never seen before - a small village, made by we the people, had grown up on the Mall almost overnight. It’s almost as if this was the original intended purpose of the Mall because it turns out to be such a natural fit. People are meeting patriotic brothers from all corners of this great nation. People are singing. And the members of LE find themselves feeling like the Grinch as he watched the who’s down in Whoville. The Capitol once again belonged to who it was originally intended for - we the people. 50,000 vehicles, and 500,000+ people now stood together as a peaceful reminder of this fact.

All the legacy media refuses to cover it. People are banned from social media the moment they start their live streams. And the networks go into full spin mode to reset the narrative. But they fail. Word gets out and people continue to replenish the ranks of the movement. They double down on the censorship just as Truth social and DWAC go live. It becomes the big umbrella they needed to gather all the patriots who’d been banned over the last 4 years. It gives them a chance to get their message out unfiltered. All the alt media outlets who’d been scattered by big tech now have a place to regroup.

For the first time in forever, every country on the planet realizes they are fighting the same battle. Not a battle with their neighbor, or another country, but a battle with a parasitic ruling class that has long since put their interests above the people they supposedly represent.

Not sure how it ends, but this is how I’d write it if I could script the beginning of a revitalized America.
