Ordered 2 silver coins (market price) and 2 coin holders ($1.09) last night 9pm.
Screen kept flipping btwn "cart" and "continue", but i eventually was able to pay.
JMBullion strongly suggested using UPS, as USPS not reliable...$16 extra. So i took their advise and bit the bullet on the shipping.
Unaware to me during the screen filpping, the coins disappeared from the cart.
After paying I noticed the total was different/less.
Immediately sent emails stating my error and asking for a reversal so i could order correctly.
Spoke w cust service this a.m...
Her:.sorry. cant reverse as it has a tracking number.
Me: has the item been picked yet?
Her: No.
Me: just hit cancel !
Her: it'll cost $25 more if i do.
Me: a few more words of dismay and disappointment and click.
Emailed them again and they basically responded with a " too bad, so sad" attitude and added a "you've already been told..." scolding.
So very disappointed as i was a repeat customer.
I admitted my error; greed is ugly. They basically stole from me and and are unyielding. Screw them.
Anyone want to pay 20 bucks for a $1 item?
Im sorry to hear this. You should try your local silver store, not sure what its like in the US but here everything is cheaper in person. I spent $17 less on a 10 oz bar last week at the coin store then I would have online, and thats paying with a bill payment online, and Id have to pay shippong on top of it.
You get the silver in your hands, you can pay cash, no shipping, you support a local buisness, and there's a chance they will get tarnished silver for cheaper, or rare coins you might like, or even junk silver for cheap. You can also get lucky, like when I got the Phil Harmonic the silver store thought it was a round so it had a much cheaper premium then a minted coin, let alone one from across the Earth. Thats probably my most valuable piece and its because of a mess up thatll never happen online. Only downside is there isnt isually any difference between new vs old like you get online.
Great idea! Duh on me!
I know just where to go in my town!
