This is all bollocks. It can never work. Unless there is a tech to produce electricity on board/on demand. A small non radioactive generator (been mentioned around) which deplets in 100 years. The only way electric cars work is if they arent used. Own nothing and you will be happy.

"if they aren't used" - right. Electric car connected to the internet. They will ration how much you are allowed to drive. You'll work from home or live in a tower on the corporate campus. Slaves don't get many choices.
