Not all Reddit communities are trash. Most of them are but not all. There is a notable difference between subs that are trash and the ones that are not. It comes down to the user engagement and level of sophisticated research being done there. For example, you’ve stumbled into a good sub if it feels like a 4chan offshoot with the a level of weaponized autism and the memes that are created. Superstonk feels a lot like the early Q days when research and dot connecting was at its peak along with the hilarious memes that came with it.
I like using Reddit as an old fashioned message board. It is especially handy if you have a problem (like fixing/repairing something, or getting advice)
Outside of that? It is unadulterated garbage.
