So first, I seriously want to know.

I don't want shootings, we were told that educating people, avoiding a war, that is the way to go. However, as more and more people stand up to face the oppression, people have been arrested, are being arrested, and more will be arrested.

I, for one, agree with a peacful resolution if we can help it.

However.

I do believe there will be a tipping point, in at least a few locations, where we will have the need to use citizenry to not just protest, not just stand up, only to let evil forces arrest and abuse us.

There will be a point where we will need to say, "no more. You are not only wrong, you are so wrong that you are the ones breaking the law."

"You are the bad guys here, and we are the law enforcers here. You can't arrest us because we are arresting you."

In the US you can citizen arrest a person. I know bad cops have been citizen arrested, with messy consequences, but it has happened.

I'm fairly confident we are rapidly getting to this point. Lots of discussions on GAW are about cops quitting in protest, rather than breaking oaths. Or about all the corruption or dirty cops. Ultimately, we the citizens may have to face this, and I believe it will come to this in at least a few places.

Canada may not be there quite yet, but it begs the question, how can they handle this, can they legally do this, like in the USA, legally do they have provisions for law breaking enforcement officers & officials, can they do this and how, safely?
