NFL broke the kayfabe with this... scripted/rigged. All about the $. Rams are a recent re-entry into a big market (LA) - a city that has a hard time keeping a team. Rams owner left St. Louis with a huge bill he owed... NFL needs them in the big market and needs the Rams to be solvent in their new multi billion dollar NWO stadium
