given all the shenanigans, I'd like to verify who is collecting these funds on behalf of the truckers and how the funds will be distributed.

I don't believe they've forgotten. And since that is an NBC story, I don't think I can believe it either. I mean, it is a MSM story. You can trust it if you like. But I talk to truckers every day. Not the paid actor type.
