I always chuckle a little bit whenever I encounter this verse!
'A wise man’s heart goes to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left.'

I tend to think so, actually. The leftists certainly don't have a monopoly on caring for social issues. Conservatives want to reduce poverty and injustice too, but our approaches are sharply different. In my experience, leftists (and RINOs) tend to want to use the force of government to enact change, while conservatives want to create an environment that empowers people to enact such changes of their own volition.
Utopia is a world where the rich WANT to help support the poor, and where the poor WANT to contribute to society as much as they are able. That has to come from the heart, and it can't be coerced...so Utopia leans to the right, in my opinion.
That sounds a whole lot like how God made us. He wants our hearts and He wants us to know Him, but He gave us free will to either accept or reject Him because our love for Him must be genuine. As an all powerful God, He could have made us love him, but that is not His way.
Jesus sits on the right side of Heavenly Father
Just here to offer caution as to pride.
Thanks, mate. To clarify, I definitely am not claiming that "the Bible says" wise people are on the right of the political spectrum, and foolish people are on the left. It's just funny to me that it seems to say that.
In other news, as a conservative-leaning libertarian, I LOVE YOUR USERNAME!
