He should have reclaimed the area over a decade ago when they had referendum with 97% wanting to rejoin Russia. Putin abandoned them while Ukraine was committing genocide against Russians (virtually all people living there) in the area all these years. Long overdue as far as people there are concerned. Today there were celebrations in the streets. And people in USA can keep on reading about big bad Russia printed by idiots that want to instigate wars around the globe till the end of times as far as I'm concerned. People in the area are happy tonight.
