Good thing I was vaccinated against smallpox in 1950 or so.

Same, but they don't give them anymore. My doctor didn't vaccinate my kids bc he said it was "eradicated" in the western world.

That is true.

I believe, but I can’t remember for sure, that I was given a booster for smallpox. I had a job traveling to less than third world places and my PCP used the Department of State’s inoculation guide. I had to go to a specialist clinic to complete the series. I’ve been immunized for stuff the military doesn’t ordinarily get.
