The Azov Nazis didn’t get the power of arms and money by themselves. Making mandatory “anti-racism” school curriculum in the US does not solve the problem of global criminal racketeering.
The "reason" proffered is "freedom of speech"... did you read my thread title and the author's question: Why does the US gov believe avowed Nazis have freedom of speech, but Julian Assange does not? You can have freedom of speech to advocate the murder of Jews and immigrants, but not to reveal U.S. war crimes?
It was not the UN resolution or the vote... it was the reason that we/the US, or rather our "representatives" give that is at issue to me. The author highlights the hypocrisy of the US position in my opinion.
A look at the other countries who abstained though, might give clues.
Yes, you are making a great point. But the resolution, as written, calls for establishing something similar to critical race theory, designs a global indoctrination program.
