My father, as a young man, was stationed in the Middle East area towards the end of WWII. He believed with all his heart that he'd seen Noah's Ark resting up in the mountain.
Shortly after he retired, he suffered a stroke and later developed dementia. The one thing that never left his mind was having seen Noah's Ark. He would tell his story to anyone who would listen. I think of him every time Noah's Ark is mentioned.
As an aside, he was part of the Army Corp of Engineers. I have a paperweight of the Castle, as in Q's Red Castle/Green Castle. It's made out of metal and he hand-engraved his name and service information at the base of it. I don't know how he got it, whether it was something the guys cast themselves or what.
I also have photos of him on a camel at the base of one of the pyramids in Egypt.
Wow this was such a beautiful story thank you so much for sharing. Although it's not Noah's actual ark, in a way you are getting to see an ark of your own my friend. You are here for a reason and are part of something that I know would put a smile on his face. Keep that story in your heart as we travel thru this storm. This story truly put such a huge smile on my face and heart. I could feel the love flowing from your words. Thanks again for sharing. God bless u. I am here if u ever need prayer or a fren to vent to. We are in this together. God bless u
Thank you for your kind words, fren. My father passed in 2014 and I miss him a lot. He was a good man and a hard worker. I learned a lot from him.
He sounds like an awesome person. Like I said I could feel his love from your words. Sorry to hear he passed but he will forever live on thru you. God bless u.
